Emotional Health and Counselling Service is committed to promoting children’s psychological health and early intervention services. With the generous support of Woven Charitable Foundation, we are launching the ‘Woven Charitable Foundation’ Psychological Assessment Service Subsidy Scheme. This initiative aims to provide eligible preschool children with subsidized access to psychological assessment services, conducted by professional clinical or educational psychologists.
Eligibility Criteria:
Preschool children aged 0 to 6 experiencing financial difficulties are eligible if they meet the following criteria:
- Families must currently receive ‘Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA)’, or full, three‑quarters, or half fee remission under the Kindergarten and Child Care Centre Fee Remission Scheme.
- Applicants must submit a scheduling notice issued by the Child Assessment Centre (CAC). The doctor's appointment date must be more than six months after the application date.
- Children who have previously received similar subsidies may not be approved. The Woven Charitable Foundation reserves the right to make all final funding decisions.
Subsidy Amount: HK$6,000 to HK$8,000
- If the assessment fee falls between HK$6,000 and HK$8,000, the subsidy will be granted based on the actual fee.
- If the assessment fee exceeds HK$8,000, the subsidy will be capped at HK$8,000.
- The approved subsidy must be used in full for the assessment services under this program.
