CUHK Chinese Medicine Clinic cum Training and Research Centre (Tai Po District)
The Chinese University of Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Clinic cum Training and Research Centre (Tai Po District) is one of the first batches of Chinese medicine clinics the Hospital Authority established with a tripartite collaboration, providing diverse, quality, and reliable Chinese medicine services. It conducts researches on evidence-based medicine and implements internship to Chinese medicine graduates.
Based on the tradition, the principle of Chinese medicine is to dredge the channels and collaterals, balance the in-body "Yin-Yang", reconcile vital energy and blood circulation, and reconcile viscera via observation, auscultation, interrogation, and palpation (the " Four Diagnosis Methods"). It is not only to improve the patients' health but also the quality of living.
Dispensing has never been that accurate and easy. Supreme herbs, modernised decoction machines, and individually sealed infusions ensure hygiene and convenience of consumption — herbal granules produced under GMP specification are an alternative and an advantage for patients.
