Jockey Club Sleep Well Project
1. Through an online platform, the program offers evidence-based strategies to help members address sleep issues and promotes awareness of sleep-related services.
2. Offline support is also available, including online and in-person lectures, workshops, and community events to promote sleep health education.
Program Overview
1. The Jockey Club Sleep Well Project aims to raise public awareness about improving and maintaining sleep health. It provides free, convenient, and personalized treatment plans for individuals experiencing sleep disturbances.
2. The program utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), recommended by several international medical organizations as the first-line treatment for chronic insomnia in adults. CBT-I is as effective as medication but has longer-lasting effects and reduces reliance on sleep medications.
