Vaccination against influenza is as important as vaccination against COVID-19. Vaccination against seasonal influenza is one of the effective ways to prevent seasonal influenza and its complications. It can also reduce hospital admissions and deaths due to influenza.

The influenza vaccination programme provided by Community Health has started. You can come to the health centre under the organisation to receive vaccination services without any appointment. The fee would be $220 per dose.

Government vaccination subsidy scheme (VSS)

To apply for DH Vaccination Subsidy Scheme 2022/23, applicants must be HK Residents and with one of the following identities; each applicant must also complete and sign the consent forms and hand in copies of his/her valid identity proofs before vaccination.

1. Pregnant women
2. Children

(Aged 6 months to under 12 years or children is 12 years or above but still attending a primary school in HK (please provide a copy of the student handbook/ student card)

3. Persons aged 50 years or above
4. Persons with intellectual disability

5a. Persons receiving disability allowance

5b. Persons who are recipient of standard rate of“100% disabled" or "requiring constant attendance" under the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance "CSSA" Scheme
