All the UCN Chinese medicine clinics provide general practice medication and acupuncture that are suitable for different situations, especially for chronic problems and stroke etc. Some clinics also offer medication in specialty to deal with serious sicknesses. To promote the idea of health and prevention, our Chinese medicine practitioners provide health keeping advices to patients accordingly.
General Practice
Based on the "syndrome differentiation and treatment system", the Chinese practitioners articulate the cause, location, and nature of sickness by adopting the traditional four diagnosis methods (observation, auscultation, interrogation, and palpation). Suitable prescription is also critical in treatment for sure.
Acupuncture
Suitable for many complications like internal and external illnesses, gynaecological and paediatric diseases, bone injury and five-sense problems. It is particularly effective for sequelae of stroke, acute lumbar and ankle sprain, facial nerve palsy, etc.
Bone-setting & Tui-na (clinical massage and manipulation)
Combining Chinese medicine with acupuncture, cupping, and bones-setting, it shows significant improvement for cervical spondylosis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, spinal disc herniation, chronic lumbar strain, and sciatica, spraining, gout, arthritis, etc.

Health Care
Prevention as an objective, practitioners deliver clinical advice to patients according to their situations. To prevent illnesses by "enhancing vitality", "balance Yin-Yang", and "reconciling viscera" with help of Chinese medicine and diet adjustment.
Outreach Service
Chinese medicine practitioners also practice in hospitals and day care centres for the retired, contributing internal medication and acupuncture. Talks and voluntary diagnosis are organised regularly to promote knowledge in Chinese medicine to the public, strengthening the idea of sickness prevention.
