  • Implement the Project stepped-care model in DHC/ ICCMW/ DECC, including delivering intensive case work, therapeutic group intervention, etc.
  • Complete all required assessments with clients and ensure their cases have been logged in the IT platform in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate with the General Practitioners (“GP”) / Family Doctors (“FM”) to offer pharmaceutic intervention for clients, assist on the administrative work including (but not limited to) referral form, consent form, payment arrangement, and liaise with Community Pharmacy when needed;
  • Manage a team of Project worker and Peer Supporters to assist in the implementation of the Project; provide ongoing clinical supervision to Peer Supporters;
  • Participate in regular team meeting organized by the agency or HKJC; and assist in the implementation of infusion model in district when needed;

Requirements :

  • Education:
  • Social Worker: Registered social worker with social work degree, and at least 3 years working experience in mental health services; or
  • Registered Nurse: Part I or II Registration with Nursing Council of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least 3 years working experience in mental health services or 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience in community and/ or clinical setting; or
  • Counsellor: A recognised degree, preferably Master’s degree or above, in Counselling, Psychology or Psychology, and be eligible for membership/ registration of relevant professional bodies in Hong Kong or overseas, and at least 5 years’ post-qualification counselling experience in mental health agencies, other related institutes, and/or mental health setting.

About the Role:

Join our dynamic team working on a vital Smoking Cessation Project serving ethnic minorities, new arrivals, and local residents in Hong Kong. This is a stimulating opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a passion for community health and a strong research background.

Responsibilities:

The Research Assistant will provide essential research and statistical support for our smoking cessation program, including:

  • Providing research and statistical support for data analysis and reporting.
  • Conducting quality assessments of the program's effectiveness and impact.
  • Designing and implementing assessment methods aligned with service specifications.
  • Assisting in the preparation of statistical reports, marketing materials, and publications.
  • Monitoring and regularly reviewing service data and assessment methods.
  • Supporting health activities and general administrative tasks (as needed).
  • Managing inquiries and operating the service's command center (as needed).

Location: Primarily based in Tin Shui Wai, with occasional work in Tai Po, Kwun Tong, and Jordan.

Requirements:

  • University degree in social science, public health, or a related field; a strong statistical background is essential. Experience in biostatistics is a significant advantage.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience (minimum).
  • Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • A strong team player with self-motivation, flexibility, and a commitment to community engagement and patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in SPSS is highly desirable.
  • Experience using online media for health information dissemination is an advantage.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of South Asian languages (Hindi, Nepali, Urdu) is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings may be required.

Join our dedicated Smoking Cessation Project supporting ethnic minorities and new immigrants in Hong Kong. As an Outreach Health Worker, you will play a crucial role in connecting with community members and promoting smoking cessation services.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with key community members and network with target groups to promote smoking cessation.
  • Outreach Activities: Promote smoking cessation services to ethnic minorities and new immigrants through targeted outreach activities.
  • Health Promotion Support: Assist in broader health promotion activities within the project.

Location: The position requires flexibility to work across multiple locations, including Tin Shui Wai, Tai Po, Kwun Tong, Jordan, and other assigned outreach locations.

Requirements:

  • Hong Kong Certificate of Education (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in a community health setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Passion for community engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Canva, and Photoshop is an advantage.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is preferred; other languages, particularly Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu, are a significant advantage. Cantonese language skills are also an advantage.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
