We are a new, community-focused center dedicated to providing accessible emotional support and mental health services. We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Counsellor Assistant to become an important part of our team.

 

This role is the first point of contact for clients and is central to creating a warm, supportive client experience. A large part of the work will be administrative and support the day-to-day running of the centre.

 

We are inviting someone who doesn’t only see this as a job, but as an opportunity to grow with us long-term, helping to build and strengthen a much‑needed service for the community.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support/Reception Duties:
    • Welcome clients and visitors to the center.
    • Manage the front desk, maintain a tidy reception area, and handle incoming/outgoing mail.
    • Prepare and maintain reports, case notes, and client records in compliance with privacy policies.
    • Process financial documents, such as receipts and invoices.
    • Support the center’s operations with general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Hotline Support:
    • Answer calls to the center’s hotline in a warm, professional manner.

The Research Assistant will provide essential research and statistical support for our smoking cessation program, including:

  • Providing research and statistical support for data analysis and reporting.
