We are delighted to announce that the (2026 May) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Workshop organized by our centre will be held on 8 May 2026 (Friday) and 9 May 2026 (Saturday).
DBT is an evidence‑based treatment for individuals with severe emotion dysregulation problems such as borderline personality disorder. From this workshop, participants will learn essential topics such as dialectics, biosocial theory of disorders, and acceptance in DBT; how to assess the functions of problematic behaviours using chain analysis; and how to identify solutions (skills) to help clients solve their problems. As a result of this training, participants will gain understanding of some foundations of DBT and be able to incorporate some core DBT principles and strategies into their clinical practice.
