Community Outreach Service
Prevention of Communicable Diseases and Vaccination Programme
UCN offers community medical outreach services. Managed by experienced medical professionals, the service provide home visiting, health assessment and medication instructions for the elderly to enhance their health. The service team also visit schools, organisations and enterprises to provide health education, basic health checkup and vaccinations to boost the preventions of the following diseases:
- Influenza and Pneumococcal Infection
- Hepatitis
- HPV Prevention
- Youth HPV Prevention Programme
Outreach Health Promoting Services
Apart from customizable outreach services, we offer many others programmes such as “Concept of Fit Lives” etc., offering tests, health talks and workshops to raise the health awareness among different groups of people.
- Cervical Cancer Prevention Service
Cervical cancer is one of the five most common female cancers in Hong Kong with over 400 women being diagnosed every year. In order to get women more health conscious and know more about its nature and prevention, we provide free outreach health talks to different organisations and schools.
- “Fit and Smart” Healthy Workplace Programme
A professional team comprised of doctors, nurses, nutritionists, physiotherapists, social workers, and clinical psychologists from UCN helps to promote health and raise the awareness of hygiene, offering the following services:

- Health Test: Raise the awareness of personal health
- Rapid Test: Blood glucose, cholesterol, and hemoglobin level. Results in a few minutes.
- Health Talks: Osteoporosis, hypertension, cancers, stroke etc.
- Body weight / pressure management workshops
- 「My Shot · My Choice」Secondary School Student HPV Vaccination Promotion Plan
HPV is a group of virus with more than 150 variations that infect people through sexual contacts. HPV may induce cancers or precancerous lesions on cervix, reproduction organs, vagina, and anus. The plan corporates with the nursing school of Hong Kong University since November 2019, offering HPV vaccination educational talks and workshops for all secondary school students.
